For the public interest and for anyone who works in currencies such as bank employees, we publish some advices about examining banknotes as follows:
Remember and be warned:
- Feeling is not an absolute basis that the banknote is genuine or not.
- Color is affected for reasons, and is not an absolute in providing an absolute result but a complimentary one.
- Cash counting machines are not considered an absolute basis that the paper is genuine.
- Characteristics complement each other as basis.
- Don’t hasten in perforating and destroying banknote.
- Be warned of the primitive methods of examination.
- Be warned of imaginations, fiction and fairytales such as:
- Presence of banknote apparatus may discover a forged bank note even if it was hidden in your pocket.
- The eyes in the picture on the US Dollar follows you wherever the direction.
- Do not believe that you have become a criminologist expert because of the training program; this will lead you to grave mistakes, not learning and deception.
- There is no expert for the Dollar or the Dinar, but the examiner examines any banknote, or else it is non-scientific fiction.
10.Be warned of relying or use of the forgery discovery pen, it is worthless.
11.Your belief that gangs make some mistakes on the forged banknote as means of escaping the death penalty is but laughable and un-scientific fairytales.
12.Do not train your colleagues on issues concerning expert criminologists.
13.Do not fantasize anything, especially minute details by the naked eye to signs of forgeries especially colors and paper fibers.
